Star Trek: The Official Fan Club Magazine was the bimonthly magazine of the Official Star Trek Fan Club. Started by Dan Madsen as an unofficial newsletter in 1979, the magazine was authorized by Paramount Pictures in 1982. His company, FANtastic Media, was founded in 1986 to run the club and publish the magazine.

The magazine, in a smaller, newsletter-style format, was originally available only as a premium with membership to the Official Club. Due to popularity, however, the magazine went to a larger standard magazine size (with issue 58) and saw newsstand sales soon after.

With issue 100, the magazine became Star Trek: Communicator. Issue numbering followed on sequentially with the new publication.
