Star Trek: Year Four is the third IDW series of Star Trek comics. As the title suggests, the stories for this miniseries are set during the fourth year of the original Enterprise's five-year mission. The first issue was released on 25 July 2007 and was followed by five more monthly issues to complete the run. The first issue was preceded by a "IDW Spotlight" issue featuring preview artwork and an additional 5-page TOS-based story.
This comics series has no relation to the Star Trek: New Voyages fan films, despite focusing on similar subject matter.
An omnibus edition was released on 5 March 2008 collecting all 6 issues and the short story from the "Focus on... Star Trek" issue.
