Steven Mullen

Commander Steven Mullen was the first officer of the USS Essex during the mid-22nd century.
Mullen was killed in 2167 when the Essex was destroyed following its encounter with an electromagnetic storm while in orbit of a Class M moon of Mab-Bu VI. (TNG: "Power Play")
