Susan Diol was born 25 May 1964 in Columbus, Ohio.
Her first role on Star Trek was Carmen Davila in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode "Silicon Avatar". Later, she appeared on Star Trek: Voyager as Doctor Denara Pel, a phage-stricken Vidiian who falls in love with the Doctor, in the episode "Lifesigns" and returned in "Resolutions".
She played Beth Calavicci in "Quantum Leap" with Dean Stockwell and Scott Bakula in 1990 and reprised the role of Al's wife in the 1993 final episode.
