Star Trek: The Original Series - Season Three is a DVD release containing all of the episodes which were broadcast during the original series' third and final season, as well as both prints of "The Cage". The DVD set includes many special features and all episodes are presented in 5.1 Surround Sound format.

The Region 2 release artwork on the DVDs feature guest characters that appeared in this season, as well as featuring Christopher Pike due to "The Cage" being included in this particular DVD set:

• Disc three - Leonard McCoy
• Disc four - Montgomery Scott
• Disc five - Yarnek
• Disc six - Sevrin
• Disc seven - Christopher Pike

The artwork on the first four discs is carried over from the first and second seasons.
