Star Trek: The Original Series Season 3 was released on VHS in the UK by CIC Video in two different formats: a two-episode-per-tape release in 1990-1991, and a three-episode-per-tape release in 1997-1998. The original release was deleted on 29 March 1996.

The original CIC Video release was continuous, and did not separate out seasons. Consequently, the final volume containing season 2 episodes also began the season 3 release.
