Added a note -- looks like the stated etymology of Annorax's name was taken from an editorial entry in the ST Encyclopedia, which said that name "appears" to come from 20,000 Leagues. While this is certainly possible, it's not confirmed, and there's another, more poetic possiblity.--DNJimerson 04:29, 4 Dec 2005 (UTC)

I removed the following info:

Although, at the end of the episode, in the new timeline, it appears Annorax decided to forsake the building of the weapon ship in favor of spending more time with his wife.

Now I have not seen the episode since it first aired, but this just didn't seem right to me; it seemed like baseless speculation. An archivist can feel free to re-add it if s/he feels it necessary, but an explanation should be given here.--From Andoria with Love 19:39, 2 April 2006 (UTC)

I think the ending of the episode leaves Annorax's intentions ambiguous on purpose, like the phrase "I suppose I could make the time" the character quips at the end, which could be interpreted as him making an entire lifestyle change or just a pun on what he was working on, or somewhere in-between. One thing for certain is that he spent time with his wife that particular morning. Perhaps we can append to the last un-italicized line in the article "In this restored timeline, Annorax was again working on a weapons ship, but ended up spending that morning with his wife." - Intricated 21:46, 2 April 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Name

In the episode, Tom Paris refers to Annorax as a crazy "Captain Nemo" it would make sense, therefore that his name came from the Annorax in the book too– Comtraya 18:01, 3 March 2007 (UTC)
