Was the Picard-4-7-Alpha-Tango command code in use as of 2366? I only remember it being used in 2373/2063 (Star Trek: First Contact).--Scimitar 12:32, 27 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I've been updating the Authorization code page and I'm wondering if I should write out the person that uses the code if it's is not mentioned in the code it self. i.e the code "Kappa-Alpha-4-6-0-1-7-0-4 " (TNG: "Data's Day". [edit] Whom Gods Destroy
In TOS: "Whom Gods Destroy", the Away Team could not be transported back to the Enterprise unless they would offer the correct password ("Queen to king's level one") to the pre-arranged code ("Queen to queen's level three"). Maybe I'm getting the terminology wrong, but this sounds like a sort of password that should be mentioned somewhere in this article. --Keeves 02:46, 26 August 2007 (UTC)

All a defense access code is is a code to access the defense systems- just like accessing a self-destruct system or any other restricted system. Should be merged with Authorization code.--31dot 00:34, 7 April 2009 (UTC)
