I would think that the blood used to make bloodwine would be from targ blood. BiggKwell 04:18, 12 May 2007 (UTC)

It has never technically been confirmed in canon that it is real blood at all, let alone where the blood comes from. We have seen numerous other animals that Klingons are willing to eat, so if it is blood, it could have come from any of them. --OuroborosCobra ^talk 04:21, 12 May 2007 (UTC)
