I believe that this animal may actually have been called a "Setaurian" slug, as in Seti-Alpha V, possibly its planet of origin. They appear to be the same animal used by Khan for mind control pourposes. Just a thought, maybe something to look for when I see the new one again. Will68.32.207.38 17:27, 9 May 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, Ceti-Alpha. It would seem that entering through the ears or the mouth might produce the same result; being close enough to the brain to have influence over it. Maybe putting them into the ear produces a greater amount of mind control than putting them into the mouth. It just seems like the two animals are too similar and the name could be easily misheard.
