Charles Evans is mentioned in the ST:TNG expanded universe novel "Q-Squared." He is alleged to be part of the Q continuum.

Charlie Evans was a major character of Tim Russ' fan film project Star Trek: Of Gods and Men, portrayed by William Wellman, Jr. Set forty years after the events of "Charlie X", Evans appears as an older and embittered man more in control of his powers, seeking revenge against James T. Kirk for his "mistreatment".
