It is kind of funny/sad that many Americans believe Lucy was the brains behind Desilu Productions. To read Desi Arnaz's accomplishments at Wikipedia just begins to give you a flavor of the man - Lucy and Desi were full partners in fighting to get I Love Lucy off the ground. During its run, Desi pioneered many staples of television shows to include live audiences, multiple cameras (multicamera setups) and development of reruns. – The preceding unsigned comment was added by Ronbo76 (talk • contribs) .
[edit] Production Techniques
This page slightly misstates something. The techniques Desi Arnaz pioneered for I Love Lucy were a separate issue from Star Trek's production. Certainly they helped build the studio up and let them produce all sort of high quality shows, but Star Trek wasn't produced in a manner much different from other 1 camera dramas of the period. I'm not changing it because I'm not sure how big a deal this is or if I read the entry differently than others would. Lt. Washburn 11:29, 29 January 2007 (UTC)
