Talk:Em-3-Green
From Memory Alpha, the free Star Trek reference
What's the source for the name Em/3/Green? Novels have been known to use some background information, and I'd lean a little closer to the spelling "M3 Green". - AJHalliwell 00:10, 19 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- The most canon source for "Em/3/Green" is Startrek.com. The Star Trek Concordance also uses it (as far back as 1976) and may (or may not) have came from an actual script. Several leading TAS websites also use the "Em/3/Green" spelling, including: Danhausertrek.com and Startrekanimated.com. However, since I have seen no explaination for why the article was moved in the first place, and there are no other canon sources for the correct spelling, we should favor next closest thing, which is the spelling of "Em/3/Green" from StarTrek.com. --Alan del Beccio 03:35, 19 Aug 2005 (UTC)
- It's kind of non-standard to have a "/" in an article title -- i believe our naming conventions discourage this. would there be any objection to using a different character? (Em-3-Green or Em-3 Green maybe?) -- Captain Mike K. Barteltalk 16:56, 24 Aug 2005 (UTC)
