Just wondering if there is any canon reason why she wouldn't be wearing the standard breathing apparatus for Benzites? -- TrekFan ^Talk 18:00, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

As you can see on the Benzite article, from roughly DS9 season 5 on we never see a Benzite wearing the apparatus again. Now, from a real world standpoint this is probably for simplicity of not having to use that whole steam generating rig and such. From an in-universe perspective, the problem was obviously simply overcome. Perhaps an implant that did the job, or daily injections, who knows? --OuroborosCobra ^talk 18:17, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
