• One of the Ferengi says the line "I bet she gives great Oo-mox", referencing a line from Mel Brooks' Spaceballs where Dark Helmet says "I bet she gives great helmet". {{incite}} Coincidentally, Sapceballs featured Tim Russ as well as Trek guest star Dey Young.

Barclay's 'third nacelle' comment appears to be an in-joke. It would be a reference to Gene Rodenberry's 'Starship Design Guidelines', created to refute the designs in Franz Joseph's TOS Tech Manual. Reference this article on Trekplace.--Indefatigable 02:53, September 9, 2009 (UTC)

Seems more likely to be a 24th century play on "third wheel," with warp nacelles being the primary form of transportation now. --OuroborosCobra ^talk 02:56, September 9, 2009 (UTC)
