are we sure this is the right info for japar? I could not find him in "By Inferno's Light" – The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.105.243.48 (talk).

He was certainly referenced:

• O'BRIEN: Wasn't Lieutenant Japar brought in here?
• BASHIR: The Klingon engineer? You just missed him. The plasma burns weren't as bad as they looked.
• O'BRIEN: I better go find him. I can't make head nor tail of the power-relay systems on his bird-of-prey.
