A "scout ship" seems to indicate a mission rather than a class of ship. IE, any ship sent to scout would be a 'scout ship'. This would explain the Bird of Prey being called a scout ship, and fits with Martok sending scout ships... - User:69.197.211.113

The intentions of this article, initially, were to create an article solely for the purpose of the said description used in "Q-Less". The rest of the references were more or less generic and may or may not have applied to this description. I have since removed the other references and placed them at scout, as that more accurately described the mission or classification of those vessels in question without necessarily lumping them together with this ship type. --Alan del Beccio 02:31, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
