Ahh, I see, but you simply mistook what he meant. He was actually referring to the actor who played Tom (that being Leon Rippy), but apparently didn't know the guy's name, so referred to him as Tom. This happens often in everyday speak; people can't think of an actor's name so they call him or her by their character's name. And I wasn't being a wiseguy, it just seemed like you were trying to make a joke, which isn't what these talk pages are for.
