The scope of this article is too narrow for the available references, as this could be more comfortably explained under the title "advisor", with "military advisor" being one of its subsections, while including other 'types' of advisors, such as "political", "financial", "educational", "religious", etc. There are also several similar roles that either need to be somehow integrated or separated, with an explanation of the difference between said roles.
