Talk:Miral Paris

[edit] Basis of name
What's the basis of calling her "Miral Paris"? I thought Miral was just a possible name on the list, like "Kuvah'magh Paris" ("Prophecy"). Can't seem to find the name "Miral" in "Endgame" anywhere. Is there some reference beyond Torres telling her father that they were considering the name in "Author, Author"? CzechOut ☎ | ✍ 04:00, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
- She is called Miral Paris in the script. --Jörg 04:47, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
If it was just in the script, but not said on screen, then is the name still canon?Icecreamdif 23:43, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
- Using the script as the source for a character name is acceptable if there is otherwise no reference in canon. --31dot 00:12, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
[edit] Second of two children born on Voyager
Was this ever stated in canon? While Naomi Wildman was stated to be the first born, and her life was followed in he series, was it ever said in canon that no other babies were born on Voyager? I'm not saying that we should assume more were born, only that we should not say either way, should not state a fact we do not know to be true. --OuroborosCobra talk 21:38, 29 October 2007 (UTC)

Removed the following speculation:
prompting some fan speculation that Janeway is Miral's godmother.--31dot 00:19, 6 May 2009 (UTC)
