Talk:Mutara class

From Memory Alpha, the free Star Trek reference

[edit] Accurate opening line?

Is the first line of this article accurate? If the Mutara nebula were a Mutara-class nebula, wouldn't the crew of the Enterprise been injured or killed by the effects of the subnucleonic radiation from it?--Scimitar 01:09, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)

  • Various reasons could be stated. For instance, the mutara class nebula encountered by the USS Voyager had a variation of properties to that of a mutara class. Then there's always the 'show writer's mistake' excuse. -- Enzo Aquarius 01:19, 28 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Ironic that a nebula class would be named after a nebula that no longer exists. That is unless the genesis planet reverted back to its original form after its disintegration. Federation 21:32, 6 March 2007 (UTC)

Not at all ironic. We still call it Lou Gehrig's disease, despite the fact that Lou Gehrig is dead. This nebula class would probably be named after the first nebula discovered with these properties. Whether or not that first nebula still exists is irrelevant. --OuroborosCobra talk 21:54, 6 March 2007 (UTC)
