  • The initials of Baris' title of "Federation Undersecretary", F.U., stands for a very dismissive and derogatory expression in colloquial English. This could be seen as a tongue-in-cheek reference to Mr. Baris' attitude towards Kirk and Spock.

Speculation, and seems unlikely to me, seeing his abbreviated title could also said to be "FUA".– Cleanse 08:21, 28 October 2008 (UTC)
