Talk:Ocampa (planet)
From Memory Alpha, the free Star Trek reference.
The planet Ocampa is the homeworld of the Ocampa species. Located some 75,000 light years from the Badlands in the Alpha Quadrant, it is the fifth planet of a G-type star.
These sentences make it sound that Ocampa is located in the Alpha Quadrant. We know it is in the Delta Quadrant. I'm just trying to figure out how to make it clear that Ocampa is in the Delta Quadrant without losing any information. If someone finds a way before me, go ahead and edit the page.--Lifeisharsh20 18:20, 18 June 2007 (UTC)
Okay, I originally only added the Delta Quadrant reference, but I just combined the two sentences and rearranged some information to form the following:
The planet Ocampa is the homeworld of the Ocampa species and is the fifth planet of a G-type star located in the Delta Quadrant approximately 75,000 light years from the Badlands in the Alpha Quadrant.
I think it does a decent job of preserving the information in the sentences that I changed and making it clear that Ocampa is in the Delta Quadrant. I may make additional changes.
