I removed the uncertainty regarding whether the Defiant's shields were modified by the time of "The Die is Cast", because it's within the POV of MA. Whether it's accurate is another question. But shield modifications seem to be somewhat routine. --9er 04:07, 29 Oct 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Recent addition

Though much effectiveness to Federation Shields was eliminated, the Phased Polaron Beam continued to be a powerful and deadly weapon, to most any race, save for the Borg.

[edit] Phasers

It would seem in almost every episode following "The Jem'Hadar" would refer to the weaponry of the Jem'Hadar fighter as simply being 'phasers'. At the moment, I am having difficulties linking the two, unless some fighters were simply armed with this weapon type and others were armed with the more common phaser-weapon type. --Alan del Beccio 02:57, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
