[edit] Identity
How do we know it was Pioneer 10 and not 11? They were virtually identical. --ChrisK 00:22, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
- Good point. The only version of the script I have just says "A Pioneer probe". --OuroborosCobra talk 00:24, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
- I think the Mike Okuda text commentary identifies it, but I may be wrong. - AJ Halliwell 00:26, 22 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Trajectory and speed
Incidentally, the vessel's passing through Klingon space is technically more than just "considered apocryphal by Gene." Namely, there is no way it could've gotten that far, since traversing the distance between stars for these four spacecraft (soon to be five, with New Horizons) is to take place over hundreds of thousands of years, and not two hundred and fifty. Semantics, yes, but their supposedly blowing up one of them just p/ssed me off, and is yet another reason I have problems with V. --ChrisK 09:04, 2 December 2006 (UTC)
