Diamagnetic storms saturated with polaric energy were encountered on a planet visited by the crew of the first starship Enterprise in 2152. The storms interfered with the operation of the ship's transporter, resulting in Hoshi Sato being trapped in its pattern buffer for 8.3 seconds while Malcolm Reed worked to reintegrate the matter stream. re: The "polaric energy" reference is rather ambiguous and its application in this situation does not seem to be in any way similar to the one in VOY: "Time and Again".--Hribar 17:32, 3 June 2009 (UTC)
