Talk:Radiation poisoning

From Memory Alpha, the free Star Trek reference.

Removed from article:

It is unfortunate that Star Trek frequently uses the infamous "inoculations against radiation", as this is practically impossible.

I'm thinking this passage conflicts with policy, and if it doesn't, it should. -- Redge | Talk 21:33, 27 Aug 2004 (CEST)

As long as it's marked as speculation by being italicized, I don't see much of a problem. At any rate, it could be theoretically possible to "innoculate" against radiation poisoning with some sort of medication that would increase a cell's resistance to radiation, or help it repair faster by preventing replication errors. -- SmokeDetector47 22:07, 27 Aug 2004 (CEST)
In that case, it's also inaccurate. -- Redge | Talk 13:21, 28 Aug 2004 (CEST)

[edit] Star Trek Nemesis

Added Nemesis to the reference part of the article, the Scimitar's weapon is basically just a ton of radiation poisoning, plus theta radiation poisoning was mentioned onscreen. Seeing as something as small as the scene from First Contact can be used then I see no reason not to add this in. --The Admiralty 13:55, 5 April 2007 (GMT)
