Are their any specifications for this class in the DS9 technical manual? It is referenced, but no detail is given. – The preceding unsigned comment was added by 70.178.172.14 (talk).

Couldn't find any -- surprisingly, this false info has lived in this article since November 2005. I've removed it.

Now, if anyone's game for questions, could somebody explain the "patrol ship" designation. I'm just not sure for the source of that one. -- Captain MKB 07:35, 8 June 2009 (UTC)

My guess is the fact that the Aries was on patrol duty. Of course, Defiant has done patrol duty, and many others. --OuroborosCobra ^talk 07:52, 8 June 2009 (UTC)
