I think it should be mentioned the San Francisco Yards must have been extended. Its quite hard to believe a yard which was built with the Constitution and maybe Excelsior hull measurements in mind has the capability of building Sovereigns, which are about 400m longer and 130m broader than a Constitution. - <unsigned>

Methinks that you are confusing a drydock with the shipyard proper. We have no idea how big the shipyards are at all. There's nothing mentioned about them, merely that the ships were built there. -- Sulfur 02:39, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
