[edit] Example needed
I added methods of hiding from a sensor scan, but I couldn't remember an example of radiation interfering with a sensor scan. If anyone knows one please add it. --TOSrules 06:10, 22 Jun 2005 (UTC)
[edit] From Talk:Lateral sensor
[edit] merge
The word lateral means "on the side". In this context it just means the sensor array is on the side of the ship, the article makes it seem like "lateral" refers to some sort of technology. – The preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.218.75.38 (talk).
- I agree, it's no type of sensor technology, just the location of some sensors, so this should be merged. Kennelly 11:14, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
- I also agree. 31dot 16:06, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] "Spectro" or "Spectral"?
This page says that the Enterprise had "Multi-spectro" sensors, but the transcript available here: http://www.chakoteya.net/NextGen/101.htm says "Multi-spectral", which seems like a more likely spelling anyway, since there are other "multi-spectral" technologies in Trek already. Just curious as to which one is right. Rogue Vulcan 02:29, October 14, 2009 (UTC)
- In terms of spellings we usually go with the script. Not sure if "spectro" is just a misspelling of if there is an actual source for it, but it would seem to me it should be "spectral".--31dot 02:32, October 14, 2009 (UTC)
- The script says "spectral." I'll make the appropriate edit. --OuroborosCobra talk 03:05, October 14, 2009 (UTC)
