Talk:Sothis III

From Memory Alpha, the free Star Trek reference

i'm a little rusty, which episode mentioned that satarrans came from sothis iii? -- Captain Mike K. Barteltalk 04:41, 20 Oct 2005 (UTC)

Sothis III is referenced in both episodes, "Conundrum" and "The Chase".--Mike Nobody 05:00, 20 Oct 2005 (UTC)

When was it referenced in "Conundrum" ? -- Captain Mike K. Barteltalk 05:00, 20 Oct 2005 (UTC)
  • I dont see it in the script -- so I assume it was assumed from the fact that the Sataarans appeared in that episode. Also, as far as "The Chase" goes, I notice it in the script, but I also know that that script was changed somewhat, was this reference from that episode taken from the script or what aired. --Alan del Beccio 05:07, 20 Oct 2005 (UTC)
  • According to the Star Trek Encyclopedia, Satarrans (correct spelling) are the same species referenced in "Conundrum" and "The Chase". --Mike Nobody 05:15, 20 Oct 2005 (UTC)
    • Well the script for "The Chase" spells the name "sataaran" and also, your earlier answer was incorrect -- i don't believe Sothis III was referenced in "Conundrum" at all. -- Captain Mike K. Barteltalk 05:49, 20 Oct 2005 (UTC)
      • >>>echo<<< >>>echo<<< >>>echo<<< --Alan del Beccio 06:00, 20 Oct 2005 (UTC) ;)

Just for the record, the closed captioning of the DVD's also spells the species from The Chase as "Satarran". For my ears it also sound like this (wouldn't aa be pronounced as a longer vowel?), but then again I have no Ferengi ears. Kennelly 16:41, 19 February 2006 (UTC)
