Shouldn't Geordi La'Forge be a member of the Starfleet Corps of Engineers.

No, he is a starship engineer. Just like engineers exist in tons of real world military units, and are not part of the Army Corps. of Engineers, which is a specific unit. If all engineers in Starfleet were part of the Starfleet Corps. of Engineers, there would be no engineers spread around the fleet. --OuroborosCobra ^talk 03:33, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
