Talk:Starfleet flag officers

From Memory Alpha, the free Star Trek reference

We have Gene Roddenberry listed as Admiral here because he is on all the plaquettes. This is fine for me,but if we integrate his name,we also have to integrate Admirals Rick Berman, Michael Piller etc.,I think.

We do. Those articles have't been written yet. If it is a name that is one more than plaque, then give the fictional persona its own article (For Gene Roddenberry, there is the G. Roddenberry article; for Rick Berman, there should be a Rick Berman (Captain) (or whatever) article)-- Captain Mike K. Bartel 00:31, 26 Dec 2004 (CET)

The entry for Admiral Brooks currently points to Voyager's Ensign Brooks' entry - someone with a bit more experience of wiki-policy should probably make a disambiguation page, change the existing references to point to a new stub page or whatever's the policy in these situations. [edit] Visually confirmed, but unnamed Admirals

After read the note near the end of the article, I'm still not sure if Admirals seen on-screen, but were not directly named, (i.e. Unnamed Andorians (23rd century)#Andorian Councilor .28Federation.29) have a place on this list. If so, would they require a new section, like "1.4 Unnamed Admirals"? Intricated 03:36, 16 Sep 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Commodore

Commodore apparently belong to the flag officers and are equal to 24th century's rear admiral lower half. Shouldn't they also be displayed here ? - Philoust123 14:47, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Other Admirals

I think we can move some individuals from that list to the full admiral-list. Roddenberry for example was listed as Admiral on the Phoenix plaque while others were specifically listed as vice admirals. Same thing with Archer. Why shouldn't they state his exact rank in his personnel file? --James Cody 07:08, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
