I just saw this episode for the first time. How does a shape-shifter break his leg or why can't he just reform it?
- You have to go back a couple of episodes to where the Founders turned Odo into a "solid" as punishment for killing another changeling in "The Adversary". Eventually he regained his natural shape-shifting ability. Logan 5 20:45, 28 Sep 2005 (UTC)
Does anyone know where this episode was filmed? -- When it rains... it pours 20:52, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
- I can tell you once I get home; it should be stated in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine Companion. I should be home within the next hour and a half, so I can let you know then, unless someone else volunteers the information before then. --From Andoria with Love 21:11, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
- The Whitney Portals? -- Ben Sisko 21:19, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, the episode was filmed at Mt. Whitney in California. --From Andoria with Love 22:36, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
Some days ago, I saw this episode off of the DVD. I noticed in the scene showing the exterior of the crashed runabout, it was designated as the Rio Grande. Just FYI. --71.121.150.75 20:27, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

Quark's remark about it being "a very simple game" is a joke on the very difficult rules made up by Captain Kirk in that episode.
Removed the above comment as uncited, as we shouldn't tell people what is and is not a joke unless we can back it up.--31dot 19:32, 8 February 2009 (UTC)
