I have removed the following nit from the page, as per MA:NIT:

The concept of the area of space named the Barrens is fundamentally flawed, the lack of star light being mistakenly attributed to its vast size and the curvature of space-time around it. A more proper example of a "starless" region of space is The Void, a region of Delta Quadrant space encountered by the Federation starship USS Voyager in 2375, which is explained to contain a form of radiation that prevents light from stars outside the region from being seen from within. (VOY: "Night")

Also has nothing to do with The Barrens, it's describing another region of space entirely. --From Andoria with Love 14:28, 21 June 2009 (UTC)
