Perhaps Theta is being output from the Universal Translator. Nerys (mirror) is simply using Bajoran, Cardassian or Klingon ancient alphabet, which is then translated. AyalaofBorg 08:54, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
- Exactly. The use of alpha/beta/gamma is entirely for the benefit of the audience. (who can compare theta to omega but not the native Cardassian or Klingon words)
