I thought it was interesting that Vulcan maintained a fleet of planetary defense vessels instead of relying on Starfleet.--GreatBear 09:06, 22 Dec 2005 (UTC)

The status of these vessels as Starfleet, Vulcan, other, or whether they were a "class" of ships is unknown. I'm modifying the article accordingly. Aholland 17:45, 10 March 2006 (UTC)

It is likely that these forces are somewhat similar to a state national guard or state police like the CHP.
