[edit] Origin of name?

The article says that Work Bees are named for the yellow colour of these little utility craft, but in their earliest appearances they weren't yellow, as the illustrations show. Is there a source for this? In Canadian English a "work bee" is a (somewhat festive) gathering for the purpose of carrying out some kind of productive work (quilting being the most famous example). I imagine this probably has something to do with the name's origin, i.e. it's a play on "work bee" and "worker bee" (the insect). – 75.157.237.160 08:59, 22 February 2009 (UTC)
