Talupian stratagem

The Talupian stratagem was a standard Starfleet tactical strategy used on Federation starships during battles in the 24th century.
"Captain" William T. Riker used the Talupian maneuver to counter Captain Picard's use of the Kumeh maneuver during the Starfleet battle simulation which pitted the USS Hathaway against the USS Enterprise-D. (TNG: "Peak Performance")
