Yeoman Tankris was an operations division clerk who recorded the trial of Montgomery Scott after he alledgedly murdered three women.

After it had been discovered during the trial that the real murderer was the Redjac entity disguised as Hengist, the entity left Hengist's body, then entered the ship's computer, then Jaris and then for a last time Hengist.

In the last possession of Hengist, Tankris was taken hostage by him for a few seconds, but she was not afraid as she had been tranquilized to have no fear, the emotion Redjac fed itself with. After a brief moment Hengist let Tankris go and threw her into Doctor McCoy's arms. (TOS: "Wolf in the Fold")
