Tarkalean hawk

The Tarkalean hawk is a bird-of-prey native to the planet Tarkalea.

When Odo regained his shapeshifting abilities after a dying infant Founder merged with him, he morphed into a Tarkalean hawk and flew from the entrance of the infirmary up into the roof of the Promenade, soaring above the walkways and finally coming to rest on the upper level adjacent to Quark's. (DS9: "The Begotten")
