Ted Rooney is the actor who portrayed Varn in the April 2000 episode of Star Trek: Voyager entitled "Live Fast and Prosper".
Rooney has appeared on numerous television programs since his career took off in 1996. His first credited performance was in Celtic Pride, where he appeared alongside Christopher McDonald (Lieutenant Richard Castillo in "Yesterday's Enterprise").
In 1998 he appeared in an episode of Seinfeld, starring Jason Alexander, and with a guest appearance of Mark Daniel Cade.
Rooney has also had recurring roles on Roswell and Gilmore Girls.
