The Telsians are a humanoid species native to Telsius. They were known as a gullible people, and were known to "never prosecute".
Contrary to this, Telsian Security was known for their persuasive methods of determining the truth.
In 2376, a group of Telsian miners was cheated by con artists Dala, Mobar, and Zar, masquerading as USS Voyager officers. The stolen goods were eventually recovered by the real Voyager crew and returned. (VOY: "Live Fast and Prosper")
A trader known as Gar once stole ore from a Telsian. (VOY: "Critical Care")
