Temple was a nurse aboard the USS Enterprise-D, she held the rank of Lieutenant junior grade.
In 2366, she was one of the medical staff assigned to monitor "John Doe", an evolving Zalkonian. (TNG: "Transfigurations")
Nurse Temple was played by actress Patti Tippo, not to be confused with Patti Yasutake, who played Nurse Ogawa.
Nurse Temple may have been named in homage to Nurse Chapel, as a chapel and a temple are both houses of worship. (Star Trek Encyclopedia)
