Tetryon pulse launcher
From Memory Alpha, the free Star Trek reference
The tetryon pulse launcher is a type of anti-personnel weapon which fires pulsed tetryon particles. In 2375, Captain Jean-Luc Picard took eight tetryon pulse launchers on his mission to help the Ba'ku resist forced resettlement by the Son'a. (Star Trek: Insurrection)
According to DS9: "Blood Oath", tetryons can disable directed energy weapons, making a tetryon pulse launcher a possible denial weapon.
[edit] Apocrypha
In the video game Star Trek: Elite Force, tetryon pulse weapons designed by the Hirogen are available for the player, such as the tetryon pulse disruptor (β) and the tetryon gatling gun (β). Both fire green tetryon energy bursts that can bounce off surfaces when magnetically constrained.
