Star Trek: The Eugenics Wars is a trilogy of novels by Greg Cox about the creation and life of Khan Noonien Singh.

The first two novels detail Khan's creation, childhood, rise to power, fall from power, and reasons for leaving Earth on the DY-100 class sleeper ship the SS Botany Bay, which was later found by the crew of the USS Enterprise over 200 years later.

The third novel takes place between the TOS episode "Space Seed" and Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, and details Khan's life while he was marooned on Ceti Alpha V. It also gives a plausible explanation for how Khan knew Chekov.
