The Worst of Both Worlds was a comic book arc, spanning issues 47-50 of the DC Comics Star Trek: The Next Generation series intended as a sequel to the "The Best of Both Worlds" and "The Best of Both Worlds, Part II" episodes.
The storyline throws the USS Enterprise-D into an alternate reality where Jean-Luc Picard was never rescued from the Borg leading to the assimilation of Earth and the battle section of Enterprise was one of the last ships left to fight against the Borg.
