Theta Mees is a star that is in or near Federation space. (TNG: "Yesterday's Enterprise")

Theta Mees was only listed, in an alternate timeline, on a tactical situation monitor showing progress of the Klingons in their war with the Federation. The star was actually listed twice in the display, and was probably named for production staff associate Jim Mees.
