[edit] Tholian pilot
When the ISS Enterprise crew was attempting to commandeer the Tholian-held USS Defiant, they destroyed a Tholian vessel and captured the pilot, beaming it into the ship's decon chamber. Phlox proceeded to torture the Tholian by lowering the temperature in the chamber until it gave them the location of the Defiant. When the Tholian later attempted to send a signal to its people, Phlox killed it by lowering the temperature until its carapace shattered. (ENT: "In a Mirror, Darkly")
- This CGI Tholian was the first time we ever got to see a Tholian's full body form. The movement actor who "performed" the role during filming and provided the basic movements for this character was played by extra David Keith Anderson, who received no credit for his work.
[edit] Tholian officer
This Tholian officer, involved in the Temporal Cold War, was aboard the starship that contacted Enterprise NX-01 and requested the release of the time travel pod the Earth starship discovered in 2152. (ENT: "Future Tense")
- The voice portraying this individual was uncredited.
[edit] Tholian ambassador(s)
In 2371, a Tholian ambassador visiting DS9 reported that someone broke into his quarters during the night and stole three cases of latinum. (DS9: "Defiant")
In 2372, Benjamin Sisko obtained Tholian silk from a Tholian ambassador, who owed him a favor. (DS9: "The Way of the Warrior")
In 2379, Romulan Senator Tal'aura had an appointment with the Tholian ambassador to Romulus. (Star Trek Nemesis)
- Though never stated on screen, given the rather extreme life-support requirements of Tholian physiology, it is possible that these individuals were not in fact Tholians themselves, but members of some other species with Tholian diplomatic credentials.
[edit] Tholian diplomat
In 2372, a Tholian diplomat was killed in the bombing of the Antwerp Conference on Earth by a Dominion infiltrator. (DS9: "Homefront")
- As with the Ambassadors, it is possible this person was not in fact a Tholian, but some sort of official representative acting on their behalf.
