Tory Christopher (born 22 January 1961; age 47) (also known as T. Mark Christopher) is an actor, director, and writer who appeared as a Starfleet lieutenant in several episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. As an extra he received no on-screen credits for his appearances. The Star Trek Customizable Card Game named his character "Paxton Reese".
Christopher was born on a United States Air Force Base in Wiesbaden, Germany. He attended the University of Texas and received a Texas University Interscholastic League "Best Actor" Award in 1976 what made him the youngest Texas University award winner in the history of this University. Beside his career in front and behind the camera he owned a talent agency for over eight years and casted background and supporting roles for several films, television series, and commercials, such as Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Gilmore Girls, and Joan of Arcadia. He is also an experienced stand-up comedian and a free time NASCAR driver.
In 2004 he co-founded alongside Matthew Christopher and Tony Hannagan the production company "11 11 Pictures". This company has produced several films and television projects and received a Dylan Thomas Award for best picture for the film Sinners in 2007. Christopher worked as director, writer, producer, and cinematographer on this film.
Christopher previously appeared mainly as an actor in several films, including The Gambler Returns: The Luck of the Draw (1991, with Dion Anderson, Juliana Donald, and Brian Keith), the thriller Murder in the First (1995, starring Christian Slater and Brad Dourif), and the academy award winning Ron Howard film Apollo 13 (1995, with Clint Howard, Max Grodenchik, and Ned Vaughn). He also performed in several television series such as Days of Our Lives (1992-1996).
